# What to expect as a design partner

You help shape the product while automating a real integration from your backlog.

## Who this is for

Teams accepted into Ballet's early access program after requesting access at [ballet.dev/signup](https://www.ballet.dev/signup).

## What does the Ballet team provide?

Design partners receive:

* **A workflow review** — the team scopes one integration with you, live.
* **Design-partner pricing** — locked in before general availability.
* **Reviewable code** — playbook steps run in a sandbox; no black-box automations.

## What does Ballet expect from you?

* Bring a real workflow from your integration backlog — not a toy example.
* Assign at least one **Builder** who will author playbooks and one stakeholder who understands the business process.
* Share feedback on what works and what is missing during early access.

## What is the typical timeline?

1. **Request access** — submit the form at ballet.dev/signup.
2. **Workflow review** — live session with the Ballet team to scope your first automation.
3. **Workspace setup** — you receive access and complete in-product onboarding.
4. **First playbook** — build and run your scoped workflow with Ask Ballet.
